Intro to Plant-Based Living | 6:30 - 8:30 PM | $35 | Wednesday, November 7th | Led by the Roots Team | All ages welcome
This interactive class will offer you the information necessary for transitioning to a plant-based lifestyle.
This way of being is rooted in health, awareness, and sustainability for not only yourself, but the planet as a whole.
You will learn:
-how to make dietary changes without feeling restricted
-essential kitchen staples for preparing both raw & cooked food
-how to survive eating WITH THE NON-VEG (with family, out in public, at work, on the road, etc.)
-how to modify your favorite recipes without compromising flavor & health
We will go over common misconceptions & frequently asked questions.
Of course we will answer the infamous, "Where am I supposed to get my protein!?"
Spoiler alert: ALL protein comes from plants!
We will share our personal journeys as a collective & support each other as we break free from our energetic shackles of ingested pain & suffering.
With our "Meat-You-Where-You-Are" approach, we encourage acceptance of your needs without the restricting labels of "vegan", "vegetarian", "pescatarian", etc.) If you eat meat, we won't berate you as you step through the door. We are here to share to anyone with the intention to learn & GROW.
We, The Roots Tribe - Morgan, Kaitlyn, & Kira have collected 13 years of combined experience & research in the realm of Holistic health & nutrition. We are constantly experimenting with creative ways to nourish mind, body, and soul. We actively practice the crafting of culinary art-forms with the understanding that food is beautiful medicine.
