About The Event
In this 3-week series, we will explore the dynamic interplay between Art & Yoga.
We are all inherently creative. Every day, we think thoughts and make choices that create our reality. This is why it is so important to employ a practice for dissolving harmful thought patterns and belief systems in order to create what we truly want.
Both art and yoga are tools for clearing mental distractions in order to perceive the creative inspiration present in every moment and act upon it accordingly. When we are fully present, we are both grounded in our bodies and connected to Source.
Kundalini Yoga is a practice that focuses on strengthening the nervous system and harmonizing the left and right brain functions. This is achieved through breathing techniques, postures, guided visualizations, and mantra.
Art-Making activities like painting, drawing, journaling, and collage allow us to express ourselves without the confines of language. Working in colors, textures, and symbols is incredibly therapeutic and effective in processing difficult emotions.
There's no need to be intimidated by the creative process any longer! There is a whole wealth of beauty within you waiting to be explored and expressed!
